Hi guys, Dave Thorpe here. I just wanted to kick things off by letting you all know that I do own and use The Truth About Six Pack Abs. Some people say that makes my review biased. But I just say, would I be qualified to voice my opinion if I’d never tried it?

I found the Truth About Abs because I was looking for way to get a six pack. At the time I was putting in a lot of effort, but never getting the results I felt I deserved. I was working out 5 days a week (sometimes twice a day!) and eating as little as I possibly could.

I have to say that the program helped me in both areas. It taught me to be more efficient with my workouts and to use the right exercises to get results. I also learned the benefits of choosing the right type of food.

As crazy as it might sound, I’ve actually been able to achieve better results with less time at the gym. Another big lesson for me was eating too little was actually harming my body’s ability to burn belly fat.

Program Features: The Exercises

Exercises that zone in on single muscle groups (e.g. bicep curls, tricep extensions, leg extension machines) burn relatively few calories during and after each workout.

And this means you burn less fat! But there is a way around this problem. By focusing on exercises that work several muscle groups at a time you can be much more efficient.

Multi-joint exercises are so effective because they burn more calories during each workout. And not to mention the fact that they burn loads more calories after each workout. So you’ll be burning fat for up to 2 days after each visit to the gym!

Key Features: The Diet

Most diets restrict your calorie intake too far. This puts your body into starvation mode, meaning that when you do eat your body wants to store as many calories as possible because it doesn’t know when it will eat again.

On top of that there is the problem that most “diet”, “health” or processed low fat foods are loaded with processed sugars. These pesky things will expand your waste line like nothing else. Did you know that these are actually much more unhealthy than natural, fatty foods?

Mike Geary teaches that eating is not cheating. By choosing natural, wholesome, organic and unprocessed foods you can eat much more than you’d think. And guess what, this food actually creates a fat burning, hormonal response inside your body.

That’s right, you actually eat to lose weight!

As you know, I enjoy working out. But what about those of you that have never set foot inside a gym before and hate physical effort? Will it still work for you?

Unfortunately far too many people go in search of a “quick fix” when it comes to self improvement. Why else do you think those useless fat melting pills and fad diets sell so well?

But here is a word of warning: there is no quick fix. If you are serious about losing your belly fat and uncovering those six pack abs then it takes dedication. This is a true lifestyle choice, not a pill that you swallow.

The vast majority of programs out there promise to get you in amazing shape. But these things are never easy to stick to. And if you don’t see results you become frustrated and could end up in a worse position than you started!

Mike Geary’s Truth About Six Pack Abs does involve hard work. But this hard work brings real results. And it’s less hard work than you would think to uncover your abs.

I hope this six pack abs review has given you more of an insight into Mike Geary’s program. If you are dedicated and motivated to make a positive life changing decision then this ebook will blow you away. But if you are lazy then you will never get as much as you can out of it. And what a waste that would be!

Is the ability to burn fat really as complicated as some assumes it to be? Honestly, it is never as easy to burn fat as some assume but it is not impossible either. Often, people are unable to shed their excess weight because they are not familiar with the proper aspects of weight loss. This is generally the result of being flooded with a lot of false weight loss information.

Commonly, there are scores of diets are there loaded with half truths and inaccurate information. One of the most popular of these faulty diets is the low carb plan. How does this diet work? It involves people literally starving themselves of carbohydrates because they have been told the elimination of carbs leads to the body burning fat for energy instead. While partially true, this assessment is not 100% accurate. While the body will burn fat when too few carbs are available, it will also burn protein as well. Protein is another word for your lean muscle mass. Needless to say, most people would prefer not to lose muscles when dieting!

Many people will starve themselves of carbohydrates because they have been told the body will burn fat as a source of energy when they are carb deficient. This is partially true but not 100% accurate. The body will burn fat and protein the latter of which is the muscle mass in the body. Really, would you want to lose your muscle tone? Probably not! Also, much of the weight initially lost when you go on a low carbohydrate diet is water.

Additionally, any water that you lose will end up returning within a relatively short period of time. You will need to rehydrate and some of that water will remain in the body. And, at some point in time, you will start eating carbs again and that will lead to the restoration of mostly all retained water. Again, a low carb diet is not bad but its ability to burn off fat has been significantly and greatly exaggerated. Such bad info eventually leads people astray.

In short, a low carbohydrate is a weak diet plan that many people venture into due to false information that has been presented. Therein existed many problems associated with inaccurate info. Granted, the low can deliver some results and it is nowhere near as bad as some of the other crazy diets out there. Many magazine covers in the grocery stores profess the fact that you can lose weight eating desserts and other such items. This is just not true. Again, false info leads many people to believing they can burn fat when all they are doing is taking part in a fad diet plan. So, is there any alternative to such diet clutter and confusion? Yes, those interested in fat burning need to get to the very basic component of how to lose weight: you need to speed up your metabolism.

Lifting weights and performing cardio exercises are among the most reliable methods for boosting metabolism although it is true they have their limitations. Or, more accurately, human beings are subject to their own physical limitations. Cardio and weight training programs are known to present a strain to the body. Additionally, long and strenuous workouts can be notoriously boring even when they do deliver solid results.

Thankfully, there are other strategies in which a person is able to boost metabolic function and it comes by simply altering dietary selections and the amount/frequency of food that is eaten. Some may assume this is a little too good to be true but it is assuredly not. Anyone that is looking to expand the ability to burn fat needs to understand how the body reacts when it is fed. Several small meals per day can greatly keep a metabolism revved up and burning fat. While this alone will not get a body lean and ripped, it can certainly help in that regard.
