Weight loss can be down right tiresome with all the things that we can, should and cannot do to eat right.
I bet the weight loss plans you’ve read through recently have said you can eat this, but not that, this and not that right?
Plenty of diets tell you that exercising harder and eating alot less is the key to weight loss. But what this tends to do is encourage your body to crave food due to eating so much less.
Your low calorie diet may not actually be preventing heart disease as was found in some recent studies. In fact, eating foods that you like helps your body break down the proteins and utilize and absorb more than normal.
Replacing all the chicken in your diet with vegetables (although good for you) may not be doing you as much good as you think.
When you smell something you like, your brain tells your stomach to activate and produce more digestive juices. These juices help break down proteins and metabolize it into your body better.
Before you go and eat everything that smells good consider:
1) Eating junk food, chips and chocolate because it smells good is not the way to go. Your food of choice must have some sort of nutritional goodness in it, such as fruits and vegetables. You can cook them any way you like (even frying it) as long as they taste good to you.
2) Eating because you are around people, happy or sad needs to be avoided. If you’re eating just because people are around, or because you are depressed it can lead to bad habits. Try and control what you do when these situations arise, even if it may be hard.
3) Enjoy your food, chew slowly and enjoy the meal. It’s as simple as that.
These tips aren’t too hard to implement into your diet plans are they?
