Fast weight loss is something you might expect if youre on a diet. While different diet programs offer different benefits and consequences, there are few things you can do to speed up the process and at the same time getting used to healthier lifestyle.

1. Exercise; this is why so many people fail at weight loss. They just can’t stay motivated to work out and if you are really going to be healthy you have to keep your body moving. It can also be a challenge just to find the time. But there is hope, find an exercise that you enjoy doing. You don’t have to just stick with the treadmill. Instead try belly dancing, tennis, swimming, horse back riding, etc.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a way to get the maximum cardio benefit from your workout in the minimum amount of time. The idea behind this concept is to alternate between higher and lower fat burning exercises. For example, if you usually walk as part of your exercise routine try alternating from a walk to a jog. Walk for 2 minutes, then jog for 1 minute, then back to walking for 2 minutes, etc. Keep alternating this way for 15 minutes.

The reason this technique works so well is that your body adapts. If you usually walk for 30 minutes, after a while your body will get used to that and you won’t burn as many calories. Then the only way to keep burning at a high level is to increase the amount of time you exercise. By using the HIIT method you keep your body ‘on it’s toes’; since the intensity is always changing, your body will be burning a consistently higher number of calories.

2. Watch Those Cravings; no matter how much you may hate to hear it, the truth is that you have to watch not just what you eat, but how much you eat and how often you eat. You have burn more calories than you take in if you want to lose weight, it’s just that simple. Eat several smaller portions throughout the day. But we all have our days when we ‘cheat’. Some diet programs even give you a cheat day when you can eat whatever you want. That can make it easier for you to stick to your diet; you know that you won’t have to give up your favorite junk food for the rest of your life. But remember to keep the cheat days to a minimum. The more often you have one and the more you eat when you do have one the longer it will take you to lose weight.

You can actually do a couple simple things to make sure you don’t over indulge on your cheat days. Before you go grab that fast food fill up your stomach with a big glass of water. Or you can also have a couple handfuls of peanuts so you’re fuller and you won’t eat as much junk food.

3. Lifestyle; unless you want to be on a diet for the rest of your life you have to face the fact that it’s your lifestyle that has lead to you being overweight. And unless you make permanent changes to your lifestyle you will be gaining and losing from now on. Don’t give up though; it’s really not that hard to make changes. Just start with small steps and go from there. You can also get a quick start on your weight loss by using the Master Cleanse system of detoxification and fasting. It will require you to be disciplined but it can be a great way to kick starts your weight loss.

Even though the food tricks is good and can be used to minimizing the unhealthy food consumption, sooner or later you have to stop it, once and for all, never touch it again. This is your ultimate goal; this is what you want to be in the future. Try to make it routine for a period of time, like a 2 weeks or a month, if you made it appreciate your own effort. Don’t ever relapse, look for the new healthier you, and be proud of your own achievement.
