A good life diet is not a crash diet. If you look for magical results or results without any effort at all, you need to look elsewhere. If you set yourself too high or too low a target, the good life diet will not work. Exercise goes hand in hand with a healthy diet. Ignoring either will compromise your fitness and you will see yourself piling on those extra pounds.

A good life diet should include proper planning. More often than not, we do not plan our meals and end up gorging where we should have eaten in moderation. The key to a good life diet is a great food plan. The plan should revolve around three square meals a day, interspersed with light and healthy snacks in order to keep the hunger pangs at bay.

The good life diet starts with a healthy breakfast. Cereals such as corn flakes are great for you. You can start your day with a cereal of your choice, not something with too much sugar though. Add to it an egg for protein, preferably not a fried one. Fresh fruits can offer your body more nutrients than almost anything else. Wash all of it down with some fresh juice or green or herbal tea, which is rich in antioxidants.

It is necessary to include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables in a good life diet and what better way to have them than in the form of salads. You combine the salads with brown bread sandwiches. If the scales of your taste buds tilt in favor of non vegetarian sandwiches, then it is best to go for chicken sandwiches. It is not for nothing that the old adage says, ?An apple a day keeps the doctor away?. Even if you prefer some other fruit, you can have it. But make sure that you do not buy canned fruits and vegetables as these are high on preservatives.

A good life diet dinner should ideally be light. It should comprise of salads, soups and breads. Vegetables can be blanched. These are easy to digest. It is advisable not to have red meat during dinner. If you are go on a good life diet, then reduce the intake of fried stuff as much as possible.

For the snacks you can try granola bar. Keep in mind whatever you eat avoid certain over consumption of sugar, carbohydrates, fats and red meat. It is not so that you should stop eating all these but you definitely need to balance your intake. Or else you will definitely land up increasing your waistline.
