My heart was broken and I was crushed. No one there recognized me. I cried all the way home from my high school class reunion.
I just stood there staring. I said Mirror, Mirror on the Wall Who’s the FATTEST of Them All. I realized it was Me!
I had been very popular and admired. Long hard tears rolled down my cheeks like the storm I was feeling in my soul. I was “Miss George Washington High” in my senior year and “Miss Homecoming in my junior year.
And now 13 years – 3 kids – a husband – and a 10 hour per day job later – everyone I encountered said, “Sue, is that you?” as if they were trying hard to recognize me. I graduated with honors and everyone knew me. I was also a beauty queen in college.
The reflection looked like I had pillows on my stomach. My face was puffed with fat. I was a stranger to myself. I was devastated but, in that moment of misery – I vowed “if it is the last thing I ever do, I will change!”
I joined a gym and that was total disaster because it was so time consuming and expensive I had to quit. Like most women I have job, a husband and kids to take care of and that comes first. On my own I tried running in the wee hours of the morning, starving myself, and everything else I could think of but that didn’t work for me.
I was so depressed. I was ready to give up and be miserable for the rest of my life. It seemed futile.
Then I discovered exactly how I could change my appearance if I would do these 3 things:
1. Change my diet to a specific regimen. 2. Follow a proven set of specific exercise routines that get results fast 3. In the comfort of my home exercise no more than three times per week.
By doing the 3 things stated above I solved a lot of problems:
1. I saved time and money – no more extra trips to the gym and picking up the baby sitter
2. I eliminated my extra gasoline and babysitting costs
3. My attitude changed – now I am very happy
The exercise routines so pleasurable, I look forward to my 3 sessions per week. It’s such a thrill to look and feel so much better. I have learned how to take care of myself. In less than 2 weeks I began to see a significant difference. Then my whole body shape changed.
Now I’m the same size and weight I was in high school. And everyone I see invariably will say “Sue, you look wonderful … What are you doing?” I changed my mind. I changed my diet. And I follow a specific work routines 3 times a week. I smile and say, “I made a few important changes in my life. It’s real simple when you do it right!
