If your sleep schedule is all over the place, getting in shape can be extremely difficult. You see, not only is hunger controlled by quality of sleep, but so is the production of fat burning hormones.

Unfortunately, many weight loss hopefuls do not know how to fix broken sleep schedules.

So here are 6 ways to fix your erratic sleep schedule quickly:

1. Wake up consistently: An inconsistent wake up time will doom you to failure. For best results your body needs a stable wake up time every day. If you sleep in, for instance, you can ruin your progress within one day. So never sleep in.

2. Have an intense workout early in the day: The key here is that the workout has to be really intense. If it’s not, you won’t get the best effect. You see, a workout will accelerate the buildup of a chemical in your brain which in turn will help you sleep better.

3. Avoid stagnating: For best results you want to stay on the move all day until bed time. This will help you fall asleep very hard. You see, once you stop moving that tiredness is going to kick in hard. And if you nap your rhythm will be offset.

4. Have lots of caffeine: The key here is to front load your intake so that you have all of it shortly after waking. This will jump start your day and help you get through the sleepiness. And by the time you are ready to fall asleep, its effects will have worn off.

5. Have many small meals: This will help you keep stable blood sugar levels. And stable blood sugar will make it easier to stay awake. You see, low blood sugar causes you to feel dead tired. So make sure you eat consistently during the day.

6. Have a scalding hot shower before bed: Not only will this relax your muscles, but it will also cause your temperature to drop once the heat wears off. And low body temperatures are more conducive to deeper and longer sleep.

Sleep is a very powerful ally in your quest to get in shape. So make sure you guard your sleep schedule and take action here tonight!
