One of the biggest challenges when you\’re losing weight is quitting snacking. These small portions of great tasting things might seem small but in the end they can fail your hopes and plans of getting in shape you always dreamed of.
Quitting snacking might seem easy but it\’s not because many things around invite you to \”try\” them especially if you work in the office (like me).
Challenge number one in the office is chocolates and other tasty things we can\’t refuse brought by our male colleagues. Only resolution to this problem I see in sacking them so we are not tempted but that would be too cruel.
Also, our vending machine does not help me to stay away from snacking at work. Very often (every day almost) a sugar rich fizzy drink and a chocolate bar at least are purchased from that evil machine making my goal of having a better body less reachable.
Did you know that average person spends $45 a month on snacks? I spend much more that certainly and disturbing thing is that these snacks consist of \”bad\” products only. My friend who lost her weight gave me tips on how to stop snacking at work and I\’ll share with them with you:
One. Remain calm even in stress situations. Proper planning at work and sticking to the plan can help avoiding stress situations which (as we all know) \”force\” us to eat something, and usually it\’s something \”bad\”.
Two. Stock fruits on your desk. These will make a perfect and totally healthy alternative to unhealthy snacks and every time I\’ll crave for something to chew, I won\’t have to go anywhere.
Thirdly is to keep yourself busy as much as possible. You should know about those busy days when you even forget about your lunch. This is the case when your brain is busy with work, not snacking.
Fourthly – natural appetite suppressant. My friend suggested me to try hoodia appetite suppressants which are much stronger suppressants than fruits and can help me to cut down up to 2000 calories a day. Actually I can spend my snacking money on something that will do me good.
