How To Starve Yourself Of Negative Diet Patterns

For centuries, successful people have realised the power of the mind. Hypnotists and other experts of the sub conscious mind have thought of clever ways that bypass the conscious mind and speak to the sub conscious. Weight loss goals are often helped by hypnosis in this way and in this article you will find out how you can do that without a hynotist and without high fees.

The sub conscious mind is the most powerful force in any human being. When you first learned to drive you had to think about every single thing to keep that car driving in the way you wanted to. Gears, mirrors, indicators, steering and many other factors were constantly thought about. After a while though all of these become a habit. You repeat them so many times that your conscious mind no longer has to think about them. Your sub conscious runs you on auto pilot to carry out the manoeuvres.

Well you may be asking what this has to do with weight loss. Well the idea of auto suggestion can help you to reprogram your sub conscious and stick to your diet, enjoy exercise, eat and enjoy healthier foods and much, much more.

A lot of people fail to lose weight because each time they try, they program themselves to fail every time they try a new weight loss plan. In the past they have probably had poor experiences with shoddy weight loss plans and then they say to themselves, “This won’t work for me, I know” and very soon they give up. Think back to when you have tried a new diet in the past. How long did you follow the plan? If you are truly honest with yourself, it was probably not long enough.

I am now going to show you a techniques so that you can starve yourself of these negative thought patterns that are filling your sub conscious mind. It will help to retrain you, it will make you more positive about your weight loss plans and in turn that will help you to develop a tougher skin so that you no longer give up as soon as a diet does not give you huge and instant results.

Your thoughts and emotions are like signals. When you feel down about weight loss or your diet, and you start to tell yourself that you are always going to be overweight, you need to stop what you are doing and follow these simple steps.

Step One. You need to concentrate about what makes you feel you will always be overweight. You will get a picture in your mind. It could be many things, maybe how you feel when a diet does not go well, or maybe a vision of yourself in the future and you are not slim as you want to be.

Step Two. Pay attention to this image. This is your unconscious telling you what thought is holding you back in your quest for dieting. This is the image that you consistently put into your sub conscious. You have programmed yourself to think this way and that’s why it is so easy to give up on diets when things get a little tough

Step Three. Drain the colour from the image. Shrink it down in size and move it back into the distance. Repeat this proces if it reappears. Drain it, shrink it, send it into the distance.

Step Four. Now you need to replace this image with one of you as you dream of being. Fit, healthy and your ideal weight, admired. Get really emotionally involved with this image. Imagine how your life would be if this was how you were, how great you would feel. Now make sure that this image is in full colour and bring it close to you.

Step Five. Now feel the excitement that you will feel when this is how you look and then hold together your middle fingers and your thumb.

Whilst this may all sound a little crazy, this a very cool technique for programming your sub conscious. If you do this every time you feel a little down about weight loss or have any negative thoughts soon it will become a habit.

You will eventually create a mind anchor and this will enable you to press together your thumb and middle fingers and get that excitement about the new, slim you. Whenever you feel negative about your dieting put your fingers together and your sub conscous will recognise the habit and use it to your advantage.

I do understand that at first this may seem very odd to you but it is actually based on the science of Neuro Linguistic Programing. This is not some silly idea thought up by an idiot. It is based on the science of the mind and it works in reprogramming yourself. Go on give it a try and stick with it!
