The best thing about making your own shakes compared to simply buying pre-made shakes is that you can tailor the shake to be exactly what you want. You have control over the type of protein you use, either soy or whey. And you also have the option to make the drink any flavor you wish. Most shakes have quite boring chocolate or vanilla flavors, but by making your own you can be much more adventurous and go for something like tropical punch or even cookies and cream flavors!
The first ingredient you will need for your hoodia shake is your favourite brand of protein powder. You will be able to pick up a 2-pound tub of high quality powder relatively cheaply, and this should give you at least 30 servings. Next, you need to buy a hoodia dietary pill – make sure it contains 100% authentic hoodia gordonii as these supplements will contain around 750mg of hoodia in each pill.
Take a glass of low fat milk or water and add to that a scoop of your protein powder. Next you need to extract the hoodia gordonii powder from the diet capsules. To do this gently pull the tablet apart, and add the hoodia powder to your drink. Now you can add some ice if you wish, and then make sure you mix the drink well, before sitting back to enjoy your creation! Congratulations! You have just made a highly effective appetite suppressing shake, for much less than all the stores charge for a hoodia shake.
The other advantage to making your own hoodia shake is that you can control the amount of protein and hoodia in each drink.
