You see, if you do not get sleep, a whole range of negative effects will set back your flabby arms mission. For instance, a lack of sleep increases ghrelin which is a hormone that will make you extremely hungry.
More importantly, no sleep translates into a poor mood. In other words, you mind will make mole hills seem like mountains.

1. Stay in the dark. Light is the most powerful zeitgeber. In other words, is the strongest signal your body uses to establish regular wake and sleep cycles. If there is any light hitting your eyes before you want to wake up, your quality of sleep will deteriorate.
2. Get the mental gears grinding. Exerting your mind during the day will help you get more restful sleep at night. As you burn more and more ATP by using your brain, your need to sleep will increase.
3. Do not deviate from your schedule. A single day of sleeping in can shift your sleep schedule forward by a couple of hours. And once this happens, sleep quality will decrease. So stick with a regular schedule and do not deviate no matter what!
4. Get a feel for your sleep debt. Set aside some time during the day during which you will do a very monotonous activity. If you feel the need to sleep, then you have too much sleep debt. So work on reducing the sleep debt so that you can reduce those flabby arms.
5. Do not get stressed during the day. You only have to avoid major stresses. Because a single bout of high intensity stress during the day can disrupt your sleep long after the fact at night.
