Healthy Weight Loss Goals

How do you measure your weight loss? Do you measure by the pound lost? Do you measure by the inches lost? These are the two types of measurements typical in the industry. Some weight loss programs require frequent (often daily) visits to the clinic in order to officially measure and record weight loss throughout the program.

In recent years it has become essential that weight loss institutions and experts take into consideration the fact that they are there to guide and advise dieters. They are there to not only encourage and ensure weight loss, but to ensure that it is healthy weight loss. There are a few basic items that weight loss experts, doctors, and weight loss counselors have to take into consideration:

1. Healthy weight loss goals. Average dieters in today’s society often have a skewed view of body image and body type. Many will set weight loss goals at unhealthy levels if they aren’t aided with additional knowledge and appropriate dieting information.

2. Yo-yo dieting. Many dieters don’t just diet, lose weight and go on with their lives. Many dieters lose weight, gain weight, lose weight, gain weight. etc. This is what is called yo-yo dieting. Yo-yo dieting is not a healthy option. Dieters who find themselves fitting this mold need to evaluate the reasons behind this negative cycle and stop it.

3. Extreme, fad dieting. There are countless negative dieting techniques available to the average consumer. Many will provide results. But in providing these results they can cause irreparable damage to the body. Considering the possible negative effects of any diet that seems strange and/or random is a good idea.

Some dieters may find themselves confused by their first signs of weight loss success. They might lose 10 pounds and decide that they know what’s going on. They start to make adjustments to their weight loss program of choice hoping to increase their results by making the diet more extreme. This is not logical.

They might consider decreasing the amount of calories they are eating even further. This is not a good idea considering the homeopathic HCG diet already requires a very low calorie diet (500 calories per day). They might consider decreasing the amount of foods they are allowing themselves to intake. This is also not a good idea due to the fact that the number of approved foods are also extremely limited.

When dieters start to make their own changes to the homeopathic HCG dieting protocol so that they can lose more weight they end up without the results they are looking for. The protocol was designed by an expert and has been honed throughout the years so that it offers maximum weight loss. The rules are there for a reason. Individual adjustments can only decrease the amount of weight loss.
