Some of the vegetarians who are using the Fat Loss 4 Idiots system have been having trouble with some aspects of the diet plan. Because of the sheer number of variations in a vegetarian meal plan the Diet Generator can’t possibly fulfill all possible variables. Here are answers to some of the most common vegetarian questions:
I’m a vegetarian but still allowed to eat eggs, milk and cheese products. The Diet Generator has included nuts as a source of protein. Can I still have my eggs and dairy products?

I only eat fish and prawn, no meat. How can I input that into the Diet Generator?

I’m not satisfied with the food selections; I only had 20 foods of choice from the 38 vegetarian food options, what should I do?
Simple. The same answer can apply to all 3 questions. Just use the standard non-vegetarian selection when using the Diet Generator. That way you will have a lot more selection and you can just substitute vegetarian alternatives for your meals. For example, if you choose chicken just substitute it with tofu chicken. You can do the same with sausage by substituting a vegetarian friendly version of sausage. That way you will still have the variety while eating only the foods you choose.
Note that it is not recommended to made modifications on the meal plans since it may slow your progress, but if you really can’t stand the meal plans provided and it will make things easier, then this is an alternative you can do.
I’m bored with this meal plan and I haven’t reached the 11th day, can I just recreate it midway?

It is difficult to find the ingredients in my current meal plan; can I just change some of it?
Some veteran Fat Loss 4 Idiots user has conducted several tests on this matter and they found that they can just regenerate the menu mid-cycle without hampering their progress. Just click the “back arrow” in your browser once you have created a menu and click “generate” again to obtain a brand new menu arrangement using the same foods. Remember that even though some people have experienced no problem doing so, it doesn’t always the same in your case; so use this method only if you really have to.
The non-vegetarian plan had a meat sandwich on their fruit day but the vegetarian plan only has fruit listed. Is it OK to just eat fruit all day?
Try to stick with what the program says. It’s always best. But if you have to you can add a vegetarian sandwich on your fruit day if you find that you are still hungry after just eating fruit.
How do I know which ‘red’ and ‘green’ vegetables are allowed in the diet?
Follow the program criteria regarding colors and you’ll be fine. Make sure to avoid potatoes and corn and remember you can have tomatoes, red peppers, red onions, and red cabbage.
Fat Loss 4 Idiots is one of the few weight loss programs that take the needs of vegetarians into account. Though not perfect with some simple modifications this plan can work well for you too.
