One thing I have noticed while serving as a professional Nutrition specialist, is that most of my customers are amazed when they find out what foods I would recommend for fat burning.

And not only are the foods that I recommend delicious, they are useful in helping to keep weight under control, and they actually help to burn fat.

I won’t bore you by listing the usual healthy foods like vegetables ” everyone knows about these, right. (And fruit, of course). I want to show you some that are tasty, super healthy, and great for fat loss.

1. Egg yolks. Yes, I mean those eggs that you may have heard about – how they are so filled with cholesterol and fat. Well, let me set the record straight – the eggs will increase your cholesterol, but it’s the good cholesterol. They help to keep the balance with fat, and the free-range eggs are exceptionally good, because of the high omega-3 content.

Yolks of eggs are also a rich source of vitamins, as well as minerals and other trace nutrients. To give a complete list of these would take up a lot of space, maybe a full page. Suffice it to say that egg whites are not to be favoured instead of yolks!

So you may enjoy those eggs, knowing that you are assisting in the fat burning process. I’m glad that I don’t need to give up eggs – they’re one of my favorite foods!

2. Avocados – here is another example of a “fatty” food (so-called) that helps in the fat burning process. This will come as a surprise to many – they are so rich and creamy. And of course they can be mixed in with other foods to great effect, to make delicious combinations for salads or dessert dishes. And avocados are full of “healthy fats” as well as fiber and antioxidants. They’re also a rich source of minerals and vitamins, and they are useful for curbing appetites, and enhance the body’s fat burning process.

3. Grass-fed beef ” Most of the beef you see in the grocery store is not from grass-fed cattle but from their less healthy, grain-fed relatives. You would be well advised to insist on the grass-fed type. This type, as well as being much tastier, has much higher ratios of omega-3 to omega-6 (we get too much of omega-6 anyway). The important fatty acids in the fight against belly fat are the omega-3 type.

Another plus with grass-fed beef,is that it contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). This is one of the “healthy fats”, and it helps to build muscle and burn fat.

So, you can enjoy your beef without being concerned about the fat content. You don’t need to listen to anyone who claims that you will put on lots of fat – you know better. Just make sure that you get the grass-fed beef only.
