First of all you will need to drink plenty of water. No you do not have to drink enough for a water tower. Just make sure that you drink eight or ten glasses a day. Do not substitute any other kind of fluid for water. You have to stay hydrated.

A good method of loosing weight is to use smaller plates and darker plates and bowls. People that have done studies say that darker plates make you not want to eat so much. When you are dinging out you should always ask you waitress to put half of your meal into a doggy bag before it makes it to the table so that you will not be tempted to eat it all and then you can have leftovers for lunch the next day.

The way that restaurants make food today is absurd because they do not care if you are trying to lose weight or trying to eat smaller proportions. All they really care about is making things bigger so that they can charge more and get more money. So the best thing is probably to not eat out so that you will not be tempted to eat unhealthy.

I know this is going to seem weird but you should eat at least five or six times a day. When you do not eat for a long time your body is holding onto the fat because this is the way it has nutrients. So when you eat a whole lot your body is not scared to let go of the fat because it is getting adequate nutrients. I am not saying that you should eat bad things, but grilled chicken salads and healthy things are what you should eat.

Make sure you start with breakfast. When you eat more for breakfast you will eat less at night time. If you skip breakfast this makes you hungry throughout the day and then you will pretty much just eat everything in sight. When eating five meals a day you should have three sensible meals and only two healthy snacks. Make sure you eat healthy and then your body wont crave for food. If you are good to your body then it will not demand you pay attention to it.

Don’t test your will power by going down the isles with the cookies, pizzas and ice cream. Always make sure to document everything you eat, in today’s busy life it is easy to forget things you eat throughout the day.

It is great to workout and if you are like me and you do not like going to the gym because everyone is staring at you, then you should get you some weights that you can put in your home and lift some weights. They do not have to be big huge weights, something small will do.

Make sure to get good sleep. Studies show that you can burn a few calories with sleep. Do not expect to lose weight simply by sleeping because this is lazy and you will not get good results. Just make sure to get a good nights sleep so that you can rejuvenate your body and you can be refreshed and you wont be so lazy and tired to do a workout.
