It’s amazing how time passes, and with your wedding day fast approaching, bridal weight loss may be something you are thinking about more seriously. To look and feel your best, you may want to add food combining as part of your health and weight loss plan.

Undigested food can get stuck in your intestinal track and cause bloating, stomach upset, and toxic by-products. A good bridal weight loss plan can fix this.

Billions of dollars are spent each year on antacid products and can be found in every drug store, grocery store, and even corner store. You can resolve this problem with food combining, and get your body back to normal fast!

Has anyone every told you not to eat steak with a baked potato? If so, they know that your body secretes enzymes to break down your food. They also know that proteins require an acidic enzyme while starchy foods need an alkaline enzyme.

When the two are mixed together, they neutralize each other out which reduces the effectiveness of digestion. In turn, this can cause gas, discomfort, and most importantly, a reduction in the absorption of important nutrients. In addition, undigested and rotting food becomes stored as fat leaving a person feeling sluggish and tired.

So, what exactly is food combining, and how do we use it for bridal weight loss?

1) Eat Fruit by Itself – Since fruit digests quickly, it’s best to eat it in the morning 1-2 hours before any other food.

2) Eat Protein with Vegetables or Alone but Never with Starch – Vegetables are rich in water and work well in both an acidic and alkaline environment. They also include fiber for the meal. Fiber aids in moving the non-fiber protein through the system efficiently.

3) Eat Starches with Starches or with Vegetables but not with Protein – Starches requires an alkaline enzyme to break them down during digestion. And, since vegetables are digested in either an acid or alkaline environment, they are a perfect accompaniment for starches. For example, a properly combined meal would consist of pasta with mixed vegetables.

If you drink water, tea, juice, or any other beverage with your meal, it is best to wait at least 1 hour before or after eating to consume. This will help to avoid diluting your enzymes which can make them less effective in the digestive process.

The best way to see if this works is to give it a try yourself for at least a week. You will notice a huge difference in how you feel and will also enjoy the benefit of easy bridal weight loss.

Next time you suffer from an upset stomach, try food combining to see how effective it can be.
