A number of my clients who have started my High Blood Pressure program did so because they were diagnosed by a doctor with high blood pressure but did not like the effects the medications had on their bodies.
On a good note, I’ve also noticed the “side effects” of my programs. Once people were able to see results in one area of their life, they began living healthier lives altogether.
As a majority, the people who noticed such results were ones that had no family history of blood pressure, nor did they smoke or drink to excess. Usually they had gradually gained weight through childbirth or poor eating habits, and this affected their blood pressure.
Our world is filled with every sort of crazy diet plan you can imagine – just search “diet” in a search engine and look at the number of results that come up. Most diets promise that you will lose pounds and inches quickly and without much effort. If you look at the fine print, however, you’ll see that these claims usually are not accurate at best, and at worst they are nothing more than plans to starve yourself.
With these diet plans, you may indeed lose a lot of weight but the negative effects on your health, especially your heart, far outweigh any positive effects of your weight loss. Simply said, human are not meant to lose a lot of weight in not a lot of time. This is exactly what these diet plans promise.
When you make drastic changes in your diet such as extreme caloric reductions, your body will go into “starvation mode.” Then once you either reach your goal of weight loss or more than likely, just quit out of frustration, your metabolism is then forced to deal with normal food intake.
What happens then is you gain all of the weight back that you lost, if not more. This can seriously affect your health and you may end up weighing more after the diet than you did before it.
Not all diets will fail, however. Some of the people who have tried my program and have found success started to eat healthier and make healthier decisions in their lives as a result.
So if diets usually don’t work, what should you do? My advice is to follow the food pyramid. This simple and effective eating plan that we all learned as youngsters can be the key to eating healthier and losing weight as a result. One person who tried this said that her and her family lost weight without ever feeling starved or punished.
With this eating guide, people usually don’t feel like they are on a “diet”. It’s a lifestyle change instead of a fad diet; lifestyle changes will last in the long-term, unlike the fad diets.
While eating according to the food pyramid is important, it’s also important to drink at least eight glasses of water a day and to take vitamin supplements. I encourage taking vitamins but always be sure your vitamins are coming from respected companies with proven results. Vitamins and other supplements are not closely monitored by any health agency.
A diet that is well-balanced and contains foods from all food groups, even fat (in limited quantities, of course) is the best plan and the one that I highly recommend.
One more key to success is employing my Weight Loss Breeze program and the High Blood Pressure program. These two used separately or together will give you amazing results safely and naturally.
