Healthy diet can be different for many of us because different individuals like different foods and some foods we just can\’t stand. Some may hate onions, garlic or bananas for example and this is the reason why healthy diet may vary.

Picking products by their colour will ensure that you get wide variety of nutrients. Have orange, green, red, yellow and other colours in your shopping trolley. It may seem dull but it\’s easy and effective method.

2) Eat products of all food groups. Many diet programs make you exclude many products out from your diet. This can lead to not having important nutrients and that kind of diet can\’t be called healthy, extreme maybe.

To function properly, your body needs all nutrients so have them all, keeping in mind the right balance. Fruits and veg should be main products in your diet but don\’t forget about protein, carbohydrates and vitamins also.

3) Snack healthy. You don\’t have to lose your comfort if are losing weight. If you want to have a snack, then have it. Just do it better and healthier by changing your usual unhealthy snacks to something healthier.

Healthy snacks include veg, any fruit, seeds and nuts. These should suppress your appetite so you don\’t think about food until your next meal.
