Cellulite: What Works, What Doesn’t Work And What Surprised Me.

1. ACCENT Radiofrequency: First…OUCH! They say this is going to feel like a hot stone massage. Well, bring it on, I thought. No, not quite. It isn’t relaxing and enjoyable and the results aren’t worth the price or the pain. I did it several times (over a dozen in the same area) and only got mild results.

2. Bliss Fat Girl Slim: So wanted this to work. I’d read some good reviews, but for me it was just a nice moisturizer. I didn’t really see anything happening (used it for 3 straight weeks).

3. Oligo DX Cellulite Reducing Gel: Love it, will keep buying it. I really do see a difference in my cellulite (smoother, more toned, less bumpy) by using this consistently.

4. Celluthin: Great reviews on Amazon.com led me to believe this was IT…the miracle master! Not quite. I used it several times (after dry brushing) and then I wished I’d saved my money and stayed with the one I was seeing results with (the Oligo).

5. Bliss stimilator: Yes, get one! It’s cheap, quick and although temporary (really what isn’t), it’s the fastest way to appear more toned. It revs your circulation in your trouble spots. Use it in the shower or bath.

6. Pycnogenol: A powerful anti-oxidant that I happened upon accidentally. I bought it months ago to add to my vitamin regimen but I only took it sporadically. I started again recently and started noticing a corresponding smoothing of the skin when I took it. Call me crazy (well, most cellulite experts suggest taking strong antioxidants to counteract the stuff), but I’ll stay on it.

7. 30 Day Shred (Jillian Michaels): God, I hate to admit it, but this thing works. She is no sweet little thing: She’ll bust your butt! It’s only 20 minutes but you’ll sweat. I actually enjoy it and really enjoy the results (when I do it consistently). Why does everything have to come down to diet and exercise? Oh well…
