Did you know there are focused exercises to lose pounds quickly? Did you also know that what you have been doing up until now is probably too much? This article is going to hopefully open your eyes to the indisputable fact that the conventional concept of doing lots of cardio to lose weight is now not a good idea. You may learn that you do not need to exercise as much as you previously thought.

If you’re like many people you have the belief that the more cardio or aerobics you do, the more weight you will lose. You watch the small counter on the treadmill which tells you how many calories you have burned and you are feeling pretty happy with yourself after spending an hour doing what a hamster does best.

But guess what? Probabilities are, you could lose a lot more weight by spending a ton less time doing cardio!

So what does this involve and how does it work?

Let me give you an example of what I do on a scheduled basis :

1. I do weight lifting ( this includes weight lifting ( sometimes using your body weight ) for fifteen minutes a day, 3 days a week.

2. I do intervals for fifteen minutes a day, three days each week. Intervals are great, and they leave you feeling like you’ve essentially done a bit of work! They involve going hard for a set time ( generally on a treadmill or even jumping rope in your living room – see my internet site for more ideas ), then slowing down for a set time, enough to get your breath back. Repeat for fifteen mins.

These 2 hints are really eye openers for those folks who are wandering to get a procedure to get rid of their weight. Grab the chance and get success in life.
