I’ve received fantastic feedback on the Weight Loss Breeze Program. I’ve also received questions specifically concerning how alcohol may affect weight loss.
Alcohol can have negative effects while attempting to lose weight for a number of reasons.
Alcohol contains “empty calories.” A small glass of wine contains about 100 calories. Most beers have about 200 calories. In addition, many drinks include additional sugars from soda or mixers.
Replacing other calories with those in alcohol is often attempted. Long term however, this does not tend to be a success.
Alcohol slows the metabolism in addition to adding the empty calories. Calories from alcohol are burned more slowly than something nutritional.
Burning fat is inhibited when alcohol is factored in. The liver processes alcohol and fat, but is inhibited from fat burning when processing alcohol.
Alcohol is a depressent. It can make one feel tired and unmotivated. Many a workout has been avoided due to the after effects of consuming alcohol.
Alcohol also increases cravings for more caloric and sugar filled foods as well the the craving for more alcohol.
Although some people have lost weight while consuming alcohol (including alcoholics), there are overwhelming negative side effects.
Some health problems from alcohol abuse include major organ damage leading to cirrhosis, malnutrition, anemia and so on.
My Weight Loss Breeze Program is very effective for losing weight and it is all natural.
Enjoy,
