Cabbage Soup Diet The Fastest Way to Lose Weight

Excess weight is a problem for most of the people. Every one tries to use different types of diet to loose weight. At times while selecting the diet we forget to find out if it is beneficial for our health or are we just harming our body on the name of loosing weight

A good way to lose weight efficiently is the cabbage soup diet. It is low in fat and high in fiber content to help one shed excess weight. One has to follow the cabbage soup diet for seven days and no more than that. One requirement which one has to adhere to when adopting this diet is to drink lots of water.

While doing the cabbage soup diet you can also take multivitamin tablets. You must have as much soup as you want and don?t make yourself starve else you would get tempted to break the diet. You can add different spices to make your soup more interesting and appetizing.

The cabbage soup diet usually contains cabbage, onion and tomatoes and helps to burn fat due to the high fiber content. To make your soup more scrumptious you can add bell peppers, celery, salt, pepper, garlic powder or any other spices of your choice. You can also add light chicken stock or vegetable broth. This seven day diet includes: - Cabbage soup and fruits except banana on the first day. Tea without sugar should be taken.

The second day menu consists of cabbage soup, vegetable and a single baked potato. It is up to you if you wish to add spices and onion to the baked potato. However try to abstain from taking dry beans, Corn and peas.

On the third day of your cabbage soup diet you can have fruits, vegetables and soup. On the fourth day you can have banana and milk and not to forget the cabbage soup. The fifth day would include tomatoes, meat or fish and the soup. On the sixth day you can have soup, meat and lots of green leafy vegetables.

The final day of the cabbage soup diet you can have fruit juice and vegetables and rice. It is important to know that during the time you are on this diet you should not eat any bread or drink alcohol or any soda, even if they are “diet” drinks. Juices, unsweetened tea, black coffee, and skimmed milk is fine to drink while on the cabbage soup diet.

By following this diet religiously, you can easily and quickly lose up to 15 pounds in a week. But remember; only stay on the cabbage soup diet for a week, then off for a week and if you wish, you can do it again for another week. The cabbage soup diet is a sure way to drop those unwanted pounds in a healthy hurry.
