Today was my first day on the very low calorie diet portion of the homeopathic HCG diet. I’m not going to lie to you; it was really tough. I don’t think I took in enough water. But that’s something that I’m just going to have to keep working on.
I was up one pound when I weighed this morning. So I’m at 171. That’s not that big of a deal since my weight goes back and forth a lot. And it’s doubly not surprising because I’ve been loading for two days (as required by the HCG diet). I immediately got rid of all the Thanksgiving day leftovers (I fed them to the kids).
Then I spent the morning drinking lots and lots of water. I couldn’t get into any herbal tea even when Isweetened it with flavored Stevia. But I’m going to try another flavor of herbal tea tomorrow. It would be really handy if I could get attached to some herbal tea, but it might be tough since I’ve never been a tea drinker or herbal tea drinker. But since I didn’t get attached this morning I just stuck with water. And I figure that’s alright since the homeopathic HCG reviews say that not enough water is an issue a lot of dieters run across.
So by the time lunch rolled around I was starving. From now on I definitely need to make lunch before I’m starving. By the time it was done I absolutely scarfed it down. My kids are home from school for the holiday so it was an added difficulty to make their food (they wanted grilled cheese sandwiches).
But I did finally get my lunch ready. I had a romaine lettuce salad with tomato. With the salad I had chicken cooked in a pan on the stovetop sprayed with non stick cooking spray. I seasoned the chicken with the Creole seasoning that was listed as approved on the diet. I read about it in a few homeopathic HCG reviews so I figured it would be pretty good. It was more than good; it was amazing! It could be my new favorite seasoning. I’d never tried a Creole seasoning before so I was surprised. I had strawberries with both lunch and dinner for my “fruit” portion of the diet. I was a little sad that the kids were dipping their’s in chocolate and I didn’t get to, but I did try mine with a little Stevia on top. It was pretty good.
For dinner Lisa came over and we made Shake and Bake Tilapia from the HCG Diet Direct Cookbook. It was REALLY great! Even the non-dieters agreed the fish was amazing so it wasn’t just because we were hungry. I was able to successfully fit in my 3 doses of homeopathic HCG weight loss formula as well as my once per day B-Total Sublingual vitamin supplement. So I feel like I did pretty well. We’ll see if I can keep it up tomorrow.
