What if you were told that you might be losing the wrong type of weight? How about this what if I told you the weight you are losing is actually going to make you fatter?

I bet you would say Whatever, get out of here with that BS!

However you will be shocked that a great majority of women are actually working really hard for results but because they are doing it wrong… they are losing muscle mass and becoming skinny fat.

The Solution is to Lose Body Fat

Have you ever thought about what losing weight really is? I mean look at it like this… you body consists of mostly water, organs, bones, fat, muscle. Each has a weight. And you need to learn to lose the right type of weight. For whatever reason running has become the first thing people think about.

Bottom line running doesn’t build muscle.

Because you are neglecting to build muscle, your bodys metabolism remains the same. You are losing calories when you are in the actual act of running, but when you finish, you stop burning calories.

So after a good run you head off to eat some food because you want to get your energy back. And what might happen a lot of the time is you eat too much because you’re so hungry from your workout. Well what do you think happens to the extra calories that your body doesn’t need at that moment?

Extra calories are stored as fat.

So unless you consistently run and continue to run farther and farther you will continue to store fat. The goal here is to lose body fat. Body fat is the weight you want to lose big time.

Muscle shrinks fat cells.

One of the best and fastest ways to lose body fat is to lift weights. Even for women, when you lift weights you cause your muscles to grow. And when your muscles grow, they need energy to do so. And that energy comes in the form of your stored energy or your fat. And when you eat just a little less calories in your diet, you force your muscles to tap into those fat stores.

You can follow a simple strategy like that and literally lose body fat fast and efficiently. There is definitely some more behind how to do this, but on the fundamental level this will do it!

Bottom line is you need to discover and learn more about weight lifting so you can lose body fat. That is the only way to do it that will sustain results.
