Americans are the most obese people in the world because things have become to easy for us. We drive to places we could walk, use elevators when we could walk, we eat fast food more than other countries and intake more sugars and fats than the rest of the world.
There are only two ways to accomplish it. The first is by watching what you eat and eating less and the second is by seeing to it that your body burns more calories than it takes in.
1. Your body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just a way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. You will feel fuller and therefore eat less but water has no calories.
2. One of the worst culprits for hidden calories is soda. The massive amounts of sugar in them creates many calories that you will now need to burn off, while providing no nutritional benefit.
3. Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.
4. Include in your diet things that are water rich like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose after eating them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.
6. Processed or canned fruits has more sugar and less fiber than fresh fruit. Sugar means calories and your body needs fiber.
6. The body needs lots of fiber so include as much of it from various vegetables, fruits and whole grain.
7. The more you watch what you are putting in your body, the more you can make sensible choices and avoid high calorie, low benefit foods. There are times when the garnishes may have more calories than the food.
8. Junk foods as well as snacks foods are full of calories and no nutritional benefit. They are usually more fattening and do not make you feel full therefore you usually eat more of them.
9. Eat your veggies. Vegetables are your best bet when it comes to losing pounds. There are lots of choices in vegetables. And the leafy green vegetables are your best bet. Try to include a salad in your diet always.
10.Eat intelligently. Don’t just eat something because you feel like eating it. Maybe you are really just thirsty.
